These leaders do not rush decisions to alleviate discomfort, nor do they escalate intensity to assert control. They allow tension to exist long enough for intelligent resolution. Manipulation operates at the psychological level, attempting to influence emotions or perceptions. Structural power operates at the systemic level—clear boundaries, predictable processes, ethical constraints.
